PCA offers additional value along with all usual expected occupational services:

Comprehensive Health and Safety consulting through Workplace Safety Solutions, Inc.
Corporate View tm – Method of Injury and illness treatment conducted so as to minimize adverse impact on your company’s Worker Compensation Premium and OSHA recordable statistics.
Integrated Disability Management – LOD/DAFW control using our RN case management services.
On-Site personnel for I&I, compliance exams or periodic wellness services – partnering with HCA and other large vendors where appropriate.
Nightcare tm After-hours on-call telephone services by Occupational Medicine professionals – available to your business – avoid costly ER visits for your injured employees.
Electronic communications media – status of employee via encrypted email or confidential fax

In addition, please be aware that our practice is totally committed to keeping employees working if humanly possible. We call this our “capabilities instead of restrictions” philosophy. We do not write time away from work, preferring rather to write employee’s abilities. We believe that employers are best suited to determine whether they have transitional work or modified duty based on their own internal policy.

Attached is a list of routine OccMed services that all good offices, including our own can supply. We are a full-service group with in-house PT, and extended hour offerings. We also have in-house x-ray at both our sites. This clearly provides a more rapid turnaround time than you might expect from an office that must send employees to yet another facility to obtain films. This directly impacts the employee’s productivity and return to work status.

We truly hope you will be willing to place your trust in us to treat your injured employees and provide superior wellness services. This could be accomplished by including PCA OccMed on your Virginia WC panel. Also, we would welcome a tour of your facility and discussion of possible arrangements to provide physicals or other services to meet your needs. We look forward to serving you!

Charles E. Lamb, MD, FAAFP, ACOEM – program director Edwin Polverino, DO PCA president
